People can make money however they see fit, and if you have don’t have an Auction addon (which everyone should have) you wouldn’t even notice this.
Yeah, AH is messed up to the point it’s expected for players to have an addon to make sense of it.
The over-populations and layering are the real problem.
Any player on any server no matter what the population is always going to be at a disadvantage without the use of an auction addon.
Sure disadvantage, but the AH on my server is a total mess without one. And it’s the overpopulation.
i refuse to buy these stupid single stacks
That’s cool.
And I’ll be listing rare drops worth 5+ gold, blue crafted gear since I will have my professions maxed and pots for raiders. Oh and large (18) slot bags, since those are the only one’s you can get that’s crafted.
But keep chasing those white and grays.
The thing a lot of (retail) players don’t seem to understand (besides the inability to play with a minimalist mentality) is that wow provides you with a way to maintain yourself, make money and never lose a single dim.
People make the choice to throw their money away on trash instead of investment.
Aka I’m going to be one rich mofo haha.
I go by those ones and buy the stacks. I price my stuff by the prices of stacks as well because the stacks usually sell for more since no one wants to click 15 pieces of whatever when they can 1 click buy 20
For those of you who haven’t played retail in a while around the beginning of BFA there was so many bots posting so many pages of 1 stack listings that the AH was beginning to fail.
Blizzard made some changes that made things better by making the deposit on single stacks much higher than the deposit on a full stack so they would lose a bunch of gold.
I support taking measures against these people, these is no excuse on any level to permit multiple pages of a single item by a single person.
wtf you talking about? everyone still posts single stacks all they did was annoy everyone with that change.
Isn’t the correct answer to just sort your results by high price to low instead of low to high? That brings all the full stacks to the first few pages and you can click through to look at the price ranges on those.
Add a flat rate AH fee for for each posting in addition to the current AH cut. Make this fee high enough such that posting 1 stack of 20 linen cloth is significantly cheaper than posting 20x of 1 linen cloth.
