Disable addon communication channels and the addon will just shift to using chat parsing exclusively. IE: they will have failed to break the main purpose of the addon and it will continue working in a different way.

Completely block addon access to normal chat channels (breaking many addons in the process) would be needed to really completely break this addon and the purpose that it serves.

If you guys seriously start in with your “No Fun Allowed” crap on classic you’re going to hemorrhage players.

It is possible for attrition to be healthy. Players that would let this decision impact their desire to play are the same types who championed these types of features that contributed to the severe decline of the game that we now see today.

Every good captain has to trim the sails from time to time. This is no different. Players turned off by this are probably best left to playing the flavor of WoW that is more suited to their tastes.

I we could just as easily say the same about people willing to quit if this kind of an add on is allowed.
