I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if they only break it’s ability to communicate without the chat and the author has another version back up in a month that manages something similar by using solely the chat.

The addon was created to scan chat and form groups within the addon. If all the addon did was scan chat for key words it wouldnt be a problem.
He says he did, but then describes the addon incorrectly…

We have been talking about this for days. Just because the minority ignored the points brought up - doesn’t mean the blues weren’t watching. This is the end result.
Community managers are not developers…
Yeah a less powerful version with it’s clean menu system would be nice. Start off in guild and friends list then use the addon to fill last slot if needed.
That deep-rooted faith I had in Blizzard many years ago is slowly coming back. Thank you for making this change!

You are wrong on that count. There are plenty of addons that have been put in the grave by Blizzard and they have never come back.
This position confuses me. People complain that Blizzard doesn’t listen to feedback. They then see Blizzard listening to feedback and acting on it, yet they still complain.
The community manager didn’t make this decision you idiot, the game devs did herp a derp.
