Right, so that’s pretty much null and void because of how quickly they went through content releases at the time.
Apart from that, I have to give credit for a well balanced and presented examination of what might be, but without confirmation from Blizzard or emperical evidence, there’s no benefit to saying either platform has more or less whatever, and thats before we look at how vastly different Refail is to Classic or Original.

correct in that they’re NOT the same. there are four distinct API revisions in discussions here. maybe five
- vanilla launch 1.1.0
- vanilla opens maraudon 1.2.0 (and so on until 1.12. what classic is calling ‘phases’)
- vanilla 1.12
- retail 8.2.x
- classic 1.13.8? (somewhere around there. ive lost track) was a SUBSET of retail 8.2.x and not based on actual vanilla at all
so classic is really live with a redacted subset of available functions
there have been posted delta for BlizzardInterfaceResources if you want the specific binding list diffs in the ui forum or on github
Or, for example, LF 2 more. Mage and Paladin dps/heal.
(Cause paladin’s can rez, their buffs are OP and I’m going to play druid which means I’ll be either healing or tanking dungeons). Quite specific cause of my needs. Not just random dps/tank/heals. Every class in classic are quite different from each other and have their distinct perks. So yeah, totally agree with you on that.
Sadly, I’m Oceanic dude, and blizzard were “kind” enough to give us our own server this time so we don’t have a bonus 200 ms added to our ping

Yeah, but you could basically do any of the dungeons with any tank and any healer and any 3 dps. Its just we all had our little preferences.

But using the custom portion of the addon, it invited more than just 4 people. The author intented for the auto invite feature to be used to organize large groups for PvP, which on the face of it seems honest enough. But I could use it to auto invite people that want to do an UBRS, fill it with 30 people, then boot all but the 9 I want to take without actually having said one word to them.
