MRP worked in Vanilla. If Classic is about revisiting Vanilla WoW and it’s time, it shouldn’t jab it’s eyes into that RP community for wanting to play their game how they played it originally in Vanilla.

Yep, When they say in the Spirit of Classic. Well with leeway and spell batching r/t latency they told us all the game will play different unless you have similar latency today as you did back then… and most players don’t. But So #nochanges is the spirit (even if some/most people experience the game a bit different). Now it comes to LFG addons and well they are going with the Spirit of Classic is to change what WAS VANILLA to meet how most people remembered or experienced the game. This isn’t a consistent position in the least. And the real reason i take any issue. You want consistency.
That was never how Trade functioned, ever. It was used as a chat between major cities. Thanks for the snide comment, I’ll reiterate that you shouldn’t force yourself to be on the internet if everything offends you.

You do realize there were addons in vanilla, right? The ability to modify your UI was one of the big features of the game back in 2004. Heck, without addons, you couldn’t even see the unit frames of people that weren’t in your party. Good luck doing any raids without addons. Oh but wait, they added modern raid frames to Classic. Guess they need to remove those for there to be #nochanges, huh?

If all they do is break the addon communication part and the addon is functionally identical but just using chat parsing/posting I wonder how many of you rabid anti-addon types are going to bother coming back to the forums to riot again or how many of you were placated by the blue post in this thread?
