Nice strawman you got there and also a ridiculous leap from what I said. The lfg addons in vanilla were nothing like this one with how it was operating but apparently that’s too hard to grasp for some here and actual video evidence showing this is “lying/misrepresenting” it.

Oh, I’m not saying it’s perfect, but sometimes you have to take the good with the bad to have a unique game experience. I can’t wait. They just need to turn it on.

If you want justification for action on the addon read the blue post instead of carrying on about what other people need to justify to you.
My 4 year old does the same thing your doing about brushing his teeth.

Just be aware that it invited the first 4 people possible.
Can not devise role or spec without action from the player, so that feature would be useless for any content other than world pvp or something.
You’d end up with 5 dps every time.

And you’ve answered your own question as to why people don’t like it. A big part of why people wanted Classic back was to get rid of these features. Some people may have liked these features in the Classic client, but they are in the minority.

Except they weren’t widely used and the majority of people did not know about them, thus they did not negatively impact the community in a significant way.
ClassicLFG, had it not been shot down like a dog in the street, would’ve been used by many people thus causing issues.

I did he described what is ok and classicLFG falls into that description perfectly…
then he said its not ok when it does certain things that classicLFG does not do…

Eldevane, I have no problem with utility add ons, or even raid add ons. Raid add on that happen within an instance do not affect everyone in our shared world. Yes, utility add ons like the ones that sell the trash from your bags, sort your bags, mail, stuff like that are no problem with me. I do have a problem with AH add ons that are automated, but that is not for this post. I am not anti add ons, I am all for keeping it old school with the community in mind.
