You should take your own advice captain ignorance, multiple people had tested it prior to Blizzard’s decision and showcased everything it actually did.
It’s not hypocrisy. Classic WoW has the new, modern API that did not exist in vanilla WoW. The API has already been changed. This change just brings it more in line with how it used to be.
You seem really emotionally invested in this. Are you the addon’s creator?
At any rate, calling players “delusional nut jobs” is the same as calling Blizzard developers “delusional nut jobs” since Blizzard made it very clear they’ve followed the issue closely and that the addon isn’t in-line with their Classic WoW philosophy.
Blizzard calls the shots. Either accept their decision, or move on.
