How about we just wait and see?
it is all about instant gratification.
Those two words are so overused and abused it isnt funny anymore.
Almost forgot… Raiding. Only those that are in a Raiding Guild are going to see the inside of any Raid. Do you think that today’s Players are going to be OK with being told “You are not good enough” to join our Guild?
No they wont.
They will look at it, laugh, and go back to live.
Only those that are in a Raiding Guild are going to see the inside of any Raid.
Or they can look at this idiotic limitation and go back to live. See…what you just said is reason one why LFR will always remain.
The more you drive away, the more wont bother with Classic at all.
Bottom line is that Classic will have it fans, fans that will Main it and stick around but it is just too much useless makework and tedium for the modern player to enjoy enough to quit BfA.
FTFY.
for months it will there is a point in classic after you hit 60 .are you going to sink time in to raiding, pvp or retail?
whats going to happen when you hit lvl 60?
It’s a good thing blizzard ant gonna be reliant on classic being their moneymaker, else they’d end up like the devs behind wildstar.
I know and I agree with their decision.
I was thinking about new unlockable things they would reward you with in the main game in a season. Like you beat Nefarian in a WoW classic season and it rewards you with a Nefarian mini-pet in the main game. Things like that, to keep players playing it.
A lot of players with rose-tinted glasses will realize running from GY to the entrance of the dungeon every time you release in the dungeon isn’t as fun as they remembered.
Or weapon mastery.
Or becoming a buff-bot whose only job in raid is to refresh buffs.
etc, etc.
wrong. people are always gonna play retail. I’m looking forward to classic but I am going to be playing both. My friends are going to do the same.
Given how crappy BfA is, Blizzard should consider launching legacy servers for all former xpacs, at least through MoP.
BFA is already a graveyard, imagine if Activision had never merged servers or sharding.
For a couple week, maybe more, yes… but nostalgia never lasts very long.
Isn’t it already? On the RP realms at least if there wasn’t sharding/crz, there’d be basically nobody from my realm. All I see anymore is Feathermoon, Wyrmrest, and Moon Guard.
Good. I might be able to actually get to some rares.
Pretty bad example considering a RNG weekly cashe is still better than no weekly cash
oh this a troll post nice
10/10
The fact that hundreds of people are still getting their Heart Forge achievement as you type this garbage invalidates your opinion entirely.
I have pictures to prove it at home too.
Nah, it won’t. Nostalgia will last for a month or two and the classic small core player base will be left with emptiness.
Nice Necro… Unfortunately they will try to add sharding, after the layering cycles and it will die because the community will suffer.
If the classic forums I’ve visited between here, MMO Champ and Wow Reddit are anything to go by the “community” setting up for Classic is going to be far worse than anything experienced thus far. It will have a short spike, a large drop off and then stabilize to a few dedicated hard-core guilds.
I think the community itself will be it’s downfall.
Adorable how you think there won’t be Chinese gold farmers in Classic. They will always be there.
NI HAO, MORTALS!
What was that group of rmt that plagued chat back then? Karen Shuttle?
Susan Express ?
