Change my mind/
People are upset with azerite system , GCD and RNG weekly cache. Wow classic will have no one of that . People will talk to each other in party’s in duengon and remember who they played with . Bfa has none of that. Open World PVP will have no more scaling issues. There will actually have active trade chat that has no Chinese farmers spam.
The next raid comes out before summer classic by that time people will be done with raid and bored with BFA.
People will fall in love do more than one specialzation . A brand new experience for new players.

It’s coming in summer when the next raid will be yesterday news. People will flock to somthing new. When they play classic for a while they see all the problems bfa has .

Classic isn't even classic. It's some modernized abomination wearing the decaying skin of our once beloved Classic WoW.

No, it won't. I give classic two months before it's abandoned and people are in here crying that there aren't enough people to fill a dungeon let alone a raid.

Uhh go to the classic forums if you want your mind changed. Seems like it's classic that is going to be the "graveyard" if the forum climate is anything to be trusted.
The announcements about 8.2 and further are outstanding if you ask me, very excited for finally going to najhatar and for a new megadungon.
I'll be playing both either way though!

Lol another of these threads. Nope.
1) No additional content in classic. Once you do everything - your done. Like a classic RPG.
2) It's not for most. It lacks ease of life features and small things like creatures being taggable by only 1 person and being forced to party, will ruin it. Only the "small hardcore fanbase" will stay, most will return to BFA where new additional content and updates and ease of life.

Think most people will come back as current WoW is actually harder than Vanilla, Vanilla was tedious which people want to say is "hard" when actually it was insanely simple.
Either way I hope people enjoy it because if Classic is what they want, Activision is getting rich off it. Win/Win.

I think it will be similar to other MMOs that did this,
Basically you'll have a few people that play both, but the core player bases will be completely separate from each other.
I think a lot of current players wouldn't like classic. If its true to vanilla there will be no casual aspect to it.

So we can't see those problems now? I guess all of those complaints in the forums and reddit and other sites are just my imagination paying tricks on me.
Come, Classic, remove this wool over my eyes so I can see the real problems with BFA!! /s

!@#$erite is indeed terrible but it is not going to make retail empty. At least not for the reasons you think.
The only shot that has of happening is if the game continues to be unfun and if Classic launches during a content lull.
It won’t last though when the next attempt to polish the BfA turd comes out or a new raid comes out, the majority will return to BfA.
Now if retail continues down this path of loot boxes, island Expeditions and other %^-* ... and they announce that TBC and WotLK are coming. I could see the actual subscriber count remaining flat but overall sales of the expansion down from the prior.

Which was infinitely worse in Vanilla... try again!11/03/2018 11:03 AMPosted by PackloGCD

ha, spoken like someone who's never even played classic. a lot of people who want classic are either feeling nostalgic for something they enjoyed 14 years ago, dont remember it like it really was or have no bloody clue. i remember having to drink after every third mob, how about judgment removing your seals, can't set traps in combat, shammy overlords?
if those things arent in the game, then its not classic; its just a bastardized version of it.
granted there are some who want ACTUAL classic. there are also people who like grinding so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

People upset that they get an opportunity to earn mythic level gear for doing trivial content every single week are in for a huge wake up call when they realize that they have to work their !@# off to obtain gear on that level in classic. So no, I don’t think that will be a reason people will quit BFA and play classic. Gear didn’t rain from the sky and it took me 8 months of clearing molten core every week to finish my set.

Please, for me, try it.
thanks babe.
It might turn both into graveyards.

I played the demo for about ten minutes, just long enough to verify that retadin was every bit as terrible as I remember it being. Classic will absolutely not kill Live.

All farmers are going to stay in the current bfa model. Since farming mythic pluses and AOTC is the main attraction.11/03/2018 11:17 AMPosted by Enchi11/03/2018 11:03 AMPosted by PackloThere will actually have active trade chat that has no Chinese farmers spam.

I don't need to change your mind, but I for one will NOT be playing Classic after playing the demo.
I played WoW since May 2005 BUT the systems of Classic are so antiquated compared to modern WoW that I just can't stomach it. It's like going back and playing classic Runescape or EQ 1.
