No.

That’s the answer.

If you want to test your abilities at launch I suggest going to Hillsbrad in the vicinity of Southshore and Tarren Mill. Your abilities will be tested plenty there.

why not do the mobs that go immune after a while in blasted lands? wouldnt that give a view of it?

This, they are normally needed for a quest, but if you don’t use the special item on them they just stand there immune, and are great for testing stuff out.

This is my answer as well.

However, to play devils advocate, these mobs are in the low 50s I believe , and not representative of what a level 60 would typically be fighting against (armor, defense, resists, etc)

ya i dont know if the dmg would register with them being immune though. if it does then the OPs problem is solved. get high enough and test it.

Early on, wouldnt they increase weapon skill? I seem to remember leveling unarmed on them?

what’s up with these pampered retail players asking for things like this?

I’m for training dummies to be in Classic. Vanilla was good but not perfect. There are things to improve on.

Im fine with training dummies, but it wont happen. Blizzard knows if they add them, the rabid fanboys here will start screeching.

Give Blizzard and inch, they will take a mile.

Even if they don’t, there will be a private server where you can create your character + gear and test. Which sucks to rely on private servers for a test dummy, but w/e, for science and all that.

They’re looking for any change they can get in, no matter how small so they can claim some kind of “victory”.

So old school. Damn rite!

You must be new around here…

Rogues will have fresh level 60 warlocks to use as test dummies.

Nothing rabid about it - this is classic wow - maybe when they expand to BC as people say will happen - you’l get training dummies. If you never played vanilla then get used to disappointment - this is how it was back in 2005. Unhappy - go back to retail.

we have training dummies…Drop one in MC and you’ll get some real good training lol

You get a ranged training dummy in BC. Dr Boom.
