In one of her first RP outings my Draenei DK ended up in a relationship with a human and inadvertently adopting a gnomish child.
No please officer! How can I afford to feed the many NPC children in my tiny kingdom that doesn’t exist on the actual world map if I have to pay a theoretical fine? Can’t I just RP doing community service?? I swear I’ll just be a boring dirt farmer!
I keep trying to like things and the dang forums won’t let me do it. But just know that I love this!

Snark aside for a moment I loved that storyline for my DK because it was so much fun exploring how alien love felt for my DK, it freaking terrified her and very nearly drove her right back to being a villainous monster.
Let me divulge something here…
The two examples I mentioned are from core studies. Meaning these are items at least when I was in school not only required to know, but you had to take a test on. Far before you ever would have been in college for your current career.

One, You’re trying to educate new role players on “YOUR VIEW” I wish to emphasis this, your view…on what is the best way to role play.
You’ve shown your lack of knowledge of the territory your in. The amount of people who come to the forums versus the amount of players who simply make toons and dive in are astronomically different in scale If it wasn’t, more of those “call out threads” about bad rp, good rp, any rp, any pvp…would have responses from the people they were meant for likely instead of the forum regulars commenting first.
Two, despite likely being intelligent enough to know this fact, still you come and attempt this act. Your “campaign” is conducted in the midst of a Winter in a territory unfavorable for it. The Winter in this case being the lack of players from the server coming to the forums at the same time, the “scarcity” of it.
You are hardly one to call out piggybacking to anyone. The main reason your current name garners so much attention atm is due to the acts of your prior threads and the absolutely baffling nature of them, and the attention they gained from your antics with shapes and (likely) allied races. On top of that your bordering on well worded, subtle hints that you can hide in anyones guild and influence them. (The last folks who openly stated they could do that and did do that was OfB…do you see any of them around anymore? Learn from their massive mistake.) These actions you are currently piggy backing across your own success to gain attention to now purport to be a leading intelligence on How to rp correctly.

What…? You’re so weird, I don’t know where to begin. The bottom line is that this is my thread and I intend to discuss the topic at hand. It’s always you and the other pretend time police who bring in drama. I have news for you, I don’t make my threads for my fan club, I make them to discuss my outlook on the game. If you don’t like what you read, you’re welcome to disagree reasonably, but be an adult and move along if you don’t have anything meaningful to say.

Sorry for mispeaking but it’s not only for new players, it’s for everyone to discuss the topic. It’s a huge plus if a new RPer picks up on the basics that I outline, and my posts are automatically a success if one of them does, but I write what I want because I want to learn about other perspectives. If you want to use the whining of the forum regulars to argue that there aren’t any opportunities for interesting posts, then know that you’re wrong and there are people willing to discuss things that disagree with the norm (whoa, shocking to the sheltered kids in this thread, no doubt).
And… I’m not sure if English is your first language but you can’t piggyback off of your own doings. I think you’re talking about my track record and tried to put a roast in there… yikes…
I also have no idea what OFB or whatever is and I don’t quite care. The fact is that no keyboard warrior can tell me that I can’t join they’re guild, because I definitely can and will if I want to.
Back to the topic, there isn’t one singular view that I’ve argued but I guess you’re getting at ‘my’ decent RP view. It’s a view that supports rules and guidelines that have been cultivated since D&D. Any decent RPer uses them whether or not they know of their existence - and that’s because the rules are basic and considerate of the lore and other RPers.
