This post is about 3 months early, but I figure starting the advertisement now and having a handful or more players come launch is better than procrastinating until launch week to get started with recruiting.
In this post I’m going to briefly cover a couple of topics;
- Our Ideal Community
- Our Raiding Goals (Time/Knowledge/Effort/Ect)
It’s worth mentioning that our community is brand spanking new, while this does mean you won’t be jumping into a community of a dozen+ members, it doesn’t mean we won’t ever be at a thriving position. We don’t plan on doing much until classic, but a couple of us in the discord do play a variety of other games while we kill the time. Ideally we won’t positive players over anything else. Nothing is fun about that one negative guy in your guild who does nothing except for point out all the things in life (WoW) that they dislike as they slowly adopt a toxic mindset. We want people who are just happy to be playing a game that forces communities to exist and enjoys the social aspects that come with Classic WoW.
We want people who have the willingness, determination and ability to raid to the best of their abilities and clear content while it’s current. We are not exclusively recruiting people with a background in raiding. I do not care whether you are 9/9M in retail, 9/9N in retail or have never touched a raid in your life. As long as you put in the effort to hit 60, learn more about your class and the game that you’re in you will do fine.
As for the specifics about our raid:
- We currently plan on raiding Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday 12pm - 3pm EST (9am-12pm PST).
- By the absolute latest we want to be in Molten Core progressing by the third-fourth week after launch. Obviously, the sooner the better.
- Loot will be dealt via a loot council established by a balanced mix of players with a knowledgable background of the classes/gearing of classic. Along with rank priority within the guild (i.e. Core > Entry, Not Gm>All
