Hey guys. Why aren’t there any fresh servers of vanilla, tbc and wotlk?
So I know there are Era servers, but they just aren’t the same. All the era players would roll on the fresh server anyway as well and it would bring many players back to the game. I don’t like Cataclysm or SOD or Dragonflight but I gave them a go. I just love the original 3 classic versions of the game, more any other game. I just wanna play the game I love. Why can’t we get a fresh server?
I would love for there to be a fresh vanilla server as well. My guess is it would conflict with other stuff they want to release
Deviate delight is doing a fresh start type of playthrough if you wanna go there

They have people actively advertising the server, maxed out guilds and hundreds online on both sides.
Normally these attempts don’t get enough reach, but what this project has going for it I. Particular is wow’s transition period into different games like sod (lol), mop, cata, retail.
People who do not care for those, I advise them at least try this server. I have been surprised for sure
no ROI in them.

Welll I for one won’t play on a fresh server. I am slow, I take my time, and for me Era servers are all I need. I do not want to lose my progress on a regular basis.
Fresh AND Era servers on the other hand … now we’re talking. A fresh start every 2 years, and a choice to go on to TBC and/or clone to Era servers, the same then for TBC and Wrath and even Cata.
This would make … and keep … everybody happy.
I for one sure would like Era servers for BC and Wrath.
So an option to copy/transfer the 2 year fresh character to ERA? Um… Do you smell inflation or not? Just dumping and dumping more gold and items into ERA at this rate will just be like dumping trash into the void pits…
Eventually they’ll question why ERA servers even exist and just delete them. They’ll become so bloated with mats and character data it may even collapse.
Speak for yourself. I wouldn’t. I’m very well established in Era and I like it that way.
But I like the idea of fresh vanilla servers because they offer the potential to bring new life into Era after their lifecycle has completed. I’m sure they’d offer the chance to dump the characters into Era shortly after they reach Naxx phase.
You believe if fresh servers manifest that people are gonna hop off after Naxx? Or will many of them want progression? Again.
I have no idea what everyone will do. But there was a big surge or players in Era when SoM ended so I don’t see why there wouldn’t be when anything else ends with a transfer to Era option.
