I just dont see any reason to add race changes.
These characters are not disposable in Classic and you know what you signed up for when you created your character.
I have more connection to my Classic character than any of my BFA characters already because dammit, I’m a fkin’ Tauren Warrior. My retail characters have race and faction changed so many times that idek what race I initially was on half of them because its so irrelevant.
Also stuff like race/faction/name changes contributes to a worse community because you can literally become a different character 20 minutes after you ninja something. (I’m not gonna say RACE CHANGES WILL LEAD TO LFR, but it would definitely lead to faction/name changes and thats just a terrible idea in Classic. This is a legitimately slippery slope that we shouldnt even try to go down, imo- and I generally hate slippery slope arguments)
It would do more harm than good and make your character feel less special over your journey. Make an alt or reroll if you want to be a different race.

Anyway the only thing I was asking for is Race change, I get its a slippery slope but I’m a human warlock first and only, but all my irl friends went horde for classic, legit all of them. So i was either to play horde or play alone, I would rather play horde with my friends, so my character is already not what I know him as, Also I don’t want to reroll because I want the same name and I don’t want to delete my main untill i get then alt to that level first.
But I understand if race changes don’t get added in.

If you want to play two races - there’s already a mechanic for it
Level two characters.
Part of Classic is the investment required. If you want to play 2 races then invest in leveling two characters.
If your flaw is that you’re an “idiot” who can’t decide on Race then you can spend your own time making up for it.

I don’t want two characters I want my main I spent 72+ hours on, but like I said, I really don’t mind that much and understand if it never happens.
(edit: before u say anything I’m not saying 72 hours is a long time on one character)

The racials are far more impactful in classic, you should not be able to change on a whim. No race changes.

Add a 30 day cooldown? idk, the racials aren’t changing why would u switch between races for a racial anyway? I’m changing purely for cosmetics.

I think race change/faction change should be allowed…but its trickey :Ex: You have 2 Horde lvl 60’s but you wanna change 1 to alliance…you couldnt do that on the same realm…soo race change would make sense but to faction change you’d have to server change as well… i think as long as it doesn’t affect the gameplay, community. or anything that i have to deal with as a person who isnt doing the race change… i say go for it…

There is a race change function already. It is found on the character selection screen. I think the button is labeled Create or something like that. You can select your new race, gender, and even appearance and name, for free!

Wait, can you change races in BfA? Because that’s a really weird thing to create.
Allegiance changes, however, sounds like something cool for the next expansion.
I don’t think there should be race/faction change option. That’s the magical thing about Classic WoW, how permanent things are. Leveling is my favorite aspect of the game anyways, so the idea of rolling a different race and starting over isn’t so bad. You have a main and you have alts.
Remember when you first started and made your toon then realized later after many levels you hated the face and it really started to bother you so you put that max level toon on the shelf and made the exact same character again but with the better face?
I did that once, and this time when i made my character i made them exactly how i want them to look forever.

a lot of good that would do on a Druid. only way to race change would be to faction change. 
but… But If we go with classic plus I’ll take the feral worgen model as the race change. no need to give any special abilities just swap the model and call it gg. ;D
