CLASSIC WoW Macro

Are there any references out there, similar to what is posted in these places:

or

for making macros in classic? I’ve read some places that say it’s the same as retail now, but that doesn’t necessarily work when you’re talking about forms\stances. So just as a general informative post, what works and doesn’t work with the current CLASSIC WoW?

The only things that are relevant to Classic that shouldn’t work are reticle conditions.

That’s actually not entirely helpful. What is relevant and what works are two different things. There should really be some reference as to what we can do in macros.

[spec], [talent], [flyable] etc. aren’t relevant to Classic. Everything else should work, except reticle conditions.

What’s that?
Also been wondering possible to make mouse over in classic for healing spells?

Reticles are for ground targeted AoE spells, like Flare, Rain of Fire, Blizzard, etc. In retail, you can use the [@cursor] or [@player] conditionals with those spells to cast them immediately at the specified location, rather than requiring one click to bring up the reticle and another to cast it.

[@mouseover] macros absolutely work, but be aware that you can’t use mouseover with macros bound to mouse buttons - you will need an addon like Clique for that.
