Hi guys,

I think it would be cool to have a retro-themed Classic WoW forums, like how Wowhead is setting up their database.

What do you think?

P.S. It’s kind of irritating to see a big “C L A S S I C” logo, but I guess Activision-Blizzard has to brand it better than private servers somehow.

I suspect we’ll be on these forums (World of Warcraft), but hopefully :crossed_fingers: they’ll have the foresight to make a Classic category and separate forums for things like class discussions, guild recruitment, roleplay and more.

I would expect to see these closer to launch. I especially would like to see guild recruitment forums at least a few months before release as I very much want to either find a guild or start one myself before launch.

Agreed. It would be awesome if they would do so to acknowledge that a not small number of players are not here just in “added value” temporary tourist mode. That said, I have a sinking feeling they are married to this modern steaming mess of a “forum” design and we won’t be getting the common user friendly type of forums back. We think we want the old forum design, but…

Well it’s simple really… This game is not vanilla wow. It is Classic WoW.

Now that they’ve gone through the trouble of setting these forums up, I imagine these forums is what we’ll be using.

Though I would hope that they have more of a section of the forums for Classic than just Classic Discussion, once the time comes.
