Classic WoW did one thing right

It made me appreciate retail a lot more.

Yo calm down before you cut someone.

Honestly I think this is the main reason for it in the first place.

OMG same… except the opposite.

Typical troll post.
Classic up and running for ONE DAY and already the stones are being thrown.
Skäl.

Thought the same way until I saw my paladins auras. Then I remembered the butchering they did to my spec, so now I love classic more.

Most of the people clamoring for Classic were young kids when it was out.

Classic was a fun game, but it wasn’t what people are making it out to be. It had a net increase of players the entire time, but millions of people played and quit, because the grind for nearly everything was so much.

Raiding was a PITA. Even with a good guild it would take hours to assemble a group. Then dealing with the loot systems because you had 40 people in each raid.

I don’t miss Classic at all.

Again.

I like what I’m reading but move this to classic wow section

Trust me… Based on the nature of this thread, you’ll do more damage in classic wow section

I played it for about 10 minutes. Threw in the towel when quest man sent me to kill kobolds in the exact same area three times in a row.

It’s still garbage.

Classic did 2 things right for me. Made you quit so one less person in que, and reminded that BFA is still worse then WOD.

Saying that while your playing a allied race im just not buying it at all your just venting imho.

All I could think about was remembering rolling my hunter and then not being a hunter for the first ten levels since you don’t get a pet, you have the dead zone to deal with, and you have to whack everything with an axe all during that time. No thanks, that’s not a hunter. Some of the class design back then made no sense.

It is interesting how it literally has the 100% opposite effect for me - it reminds me how far WoW has gotten from its roots and how much it’s lost.

Believe me, there’s things from Classic I wish they’d bring back to retail. I’d much rather have to go back to a trainer to learn my abilities and have to carry around ammo. Those kinds of RPG elements make sense to have in an MMORPG. Those are the kinds of things that make the game feel like a real world instead of a game. I’d like those back in retail so leveling has more balance as a meaningful experience. But there’s a lot of Classic on the other hand, that detracts from gameplay when class design for many specs is so wacky.

You liked garrison more than … Okay whatever

Yeah I did that at the start of BFA. I still think BFA is one of their worst expansions, I would honestly prefer WOD over this.

That’s fine… I mean saying you prefer WoD over BFA is kinda like saying you’d rather have your toe smashed than your whole foot. Makes sense, but at the end of the day, both suck.
