Classic- Windowed Fullscreen freezes when task switching

Just installed a new video card, a Radeon RX580. When playing classic in windowed fullscreen, the game UI and display freezes (commands still register, like stop running etc, but the screen doesn’t show anything, still frozen). If I alt-tab to another application or the desktop (Windows 10), and then alt-tab back to the game, the UI/display will have updated and unfreezes for 1-5 seconds. This can be repeated.

In just windowed mode, game runs fine but this is not optimal for obvious reasons. And it doesn’t seem to be the same error in the Known Issues log because the game doesn’t actually crash.
