gearing is a hot mess in retail i’ll give you that. but the mechanics of the dungeons and raids are harder. even on lfr. there’s a lot of good in classic and i enjoy it a lot. and one of the things i like about classic is that i went in at level 10 into deadmines and solo healed the entire dungeon and was successful. stuff like that is good for me because i am not amazing at the game personally. but i do find wow fun. the character i made is one i’ve always wanted but never made in retail.
I don’t believe that most of us ever thought that classic was hard… You just took what a couple whiners posted and tried to troll us with it. Classic is more fun for some of us than the current retail version. Simple as that really. I mean come on, its a game.
I mean - what? I’ll give you raiding. But gold farming/leveling/rep grind etc; pretty similar. Except once I’m done with something in classic I’m done. I don’t have to keep doing it over and over to pray it titanforges into something useful.
Oh, you can also die while leveling in Classic. If you die questing in retail you’re probably missing an arm and blind.

Difficulty is subjective.
The difficulty on vanilla was the grind. The raids and dungeons were of the same level as lfr currently.
There is no way you solo healed DM at level 10 in starter gear with level 16-19 players in the group.
Unless they bought you really nice greens and consumes. In which case you had your hand held.

they’re removing tf in 8.3. it’ll be no different getting gear in 8.3 than it is in classic in terms of level of gear. i am against tf too because it removes my reason to keep playing my toon to progress it. i would also personally nerf WQ rewards to be much lower than they are so people are able to progress through dungeons without outgearing them from WQ.
i was healing a 47 mage. what difference does it make you to though?

i did heal it at level 10. it’s not like i’m lying. do you think mages can tank well or something?
edit: she wasn’t using blizzard she was using AE and got trucked. so yes i was healing my little elf butt off.
Congrats on the carry and doing pretty much nothing. A mage at 47 can solo it, easily.
Source: When I was leveling tailoring I ran Deadmines a bunch of times on my FORTY mage and had zero issues.

i’ve said mutliple times so far that i’m talking about priests. i have said that classic leveling a priest SO FAR is easier than leveling a priest in retail. maybe read before attacking people?
as far as content goes yes classic content is easier. everyone who has done both says so.
edit: i have 2 120 priests in retail. one that i have leveled every expansion since cata. classic leveling is easier on all counts than all of the leveling i’ve done on him. i also have a deleted 113 priest that rerolled from.
guys, the percentage of people that can even complete a mythic raid is so low it’s retarded. Completing a raid on heroic difficulty is not something a noob guild can do. Most guilds have a hard time completing normal raids. So saying that a raid is “HARD” is relative

I’ve tried out a lot of classes in Classic so far, which is why I have not leveled very high yet. I had many 120’s in retail before I quit.
I don’t remember ever dying even once while leveling my retail characters. Not once. I can’t say the same for Classic, so yes Classic leveling is much much harder. Does that mean it’s hard? Not necessarily. Both are pretty easy, but retail is braindead easy.
So stop being an idiot and talking about things you have no idea about.
