Classic Warrior Macro

#showtooltip [mod:ctrl] Thunder Clap; [mod:shift] Challenging Shout; Cleave
/cast [mod:ctrl, stance:1] Thunder Clap; [mod:shift] Challenging Shout; Cleave
/cast [mod:ctrl, nostance:1] Battle Stance

this is my macro. Pretty straightfoward, right? The keybind to the actionbar it’s on is 4.

So, ctrl-4=Thunder Clap. If i am not in battle stance I swap to battle stance then it’s thunder clap.

Shift-4 is simply AoE Taunt all situations.

4 is cleave all situations.

Problem is when I am in defensive or berserker stance (not battle stance) when i use ctrl-4 it does stance swap me, then if i recast it does thunderclap. It does not do it one go, that’s fine, the issue is when I ctrl-4 not only does it stance swap me and not trigger thunderlcap, but it instantly queues a Cleave in the same single first press. Problematic for I could for e.g. be wasting rage on cleave when i need for a thunderclap to attack speed debuff mobs many mobs while tanking in hardcore.

And I have tried making the two /cast lines swtich order, no difference.

Stances have their own GCD so you can do it in a single press. The no/stance conditions were causing the undesirable behavior. Just slap a ! in front of the stance to force it to not turn off.
