Sorry if this has already been posted, but modders have been able to do some pretty impressive stuff with ray tracing tech that’s soon to be released from Nvidia.
Video demonstration here:
It would be great if Blizzard could add this in the game’s video settings, as an optional toggle. Alternatively, if that’s not going to happen, it would be nice if Blizzard helped support the modders’ endeavors to bring us graphics mods such as this.
Thanks.

Doesn’t that work the other way around?
The juice is Blizz’s.

I dislike the changed effects in the vid (except for the night time outdoor effects) but meh to each his own.
If it did not require a substantial outlay in time/money to add it as a toggle so I don’t have to see it then it’s whatever.
The night time Stormwind part was the best, for me.
Some of it is over saturated looking, but the shadows and more realistic lighting is awesome.
Night time was also crazy awesome.
However, until something like this is the ONLY way you can play, you would be a loony to play with this VS the OG normal wow look…
Ill explain why, thing is, information is the name of the game, and all the fancy lighting, better shadows, more clutter etc., looks great, but distracts from the game play, it hides important information like mobs, AE effects, etc, maybe a deadly assassin.,
With many of the beautification things turned way down you can see more, and faster, thus pkay better. Mostly why all my stuff excluding resolution is cut down for best information to me as possible.
This is why many of these settings for crazy graphics while nice, often get turned off.
One last thing, why don’t the lanterns in the buildings illuminate properly?

A decent graphical remake that incorporates immersive VR/3d would be cool too.
