looking at topics and reading them, i find that retail seems so negative and classic positive.
Maybe it’s just the gloss coming of retail and it’s still settling down and finding it’s way. Vocal people have tried it and found it not for them, and this is just a process the game has to go through!
Can’t say 4 myself , this is the 2nd expansion i didn’t buy , WoD the other.
Wow classic is now nearly old again, so if you’r still playing it’s because you like it .
but the forums are more on the positive side, especially with the hoped release of TBC.
this is just what it looks like to me, so if you are liking Shadowlands over classic …why?
ps, yes my grammar sucks, was never good!

Come now. We all know it’s coming. 
Yeah, the spell queuing change that just went up on the PTR is a dead give away- on top of all the leaks.
Classic is pretty positive. The only criticism comes from claims it doesn’t feel enough like the “real” Classic, because they based it initially off a later patch.
(Although really, I think these people are forgetting how bad they were at the game, and how unplayable it was on slow Internet that made things feel different).
But that’s to be expected, because the development is done on Classic. The imbalances and loot decisions and other design ideas are what they are, whereas in live those will always be open questions going forward.
i dont feel like going through a bunch of classic forum posts but i wonder if its more positive there than in retail is because classic is old and retail is new? what i mean is, retail just came out and people are upset with new aspects of the game. loot drop nerf, kiting meta even in 10 keys which i think is different from bfa, pvp vendor but no pve vendor to match, class balance has changed, pvp is burst now, no flight whistle, etc. players complaining didnt want these changes. classic is just a re release and people knew what it was about to begin with and expected no changes.
why do i like shadowlands over classic? its more fun. its more my pace. theres so much end game to do.
A lot of complaints here are made by Classic posters.
i 1st playing 1 week before TBC so i never relay knew the classic experience, i joined a guild that power lvl’d me.
