Classic + updates?

Is it happening, is it not? What are you top wishes for content/gameplay?

For me its pvp q from anywhere, which doesnt get added til wotlk i believe.. this makes a huge difference as below max level pvp is virtually non existent. Queue from anywhere and people will play at any level, and to me pvp is at least 50% of my interest in the game.. so it sucks if u cant play at all til max lvl. PvP server sure but theres not much balanced wpvp early anyway.

They not gonna do anything for pvp.

It’s a working title.

they should open a FFA server with no safezones or sanctuaries… that should bring that 1990s feeling back.

other great ideas: player collision.

it is not happening :expressionless_face: time to move on

the classic+ dream is dead

Yes

Hope it doesnt exist and they should focus on MoP and bringing titanforge to the west

It will happen. There will be a shop with all sorts of services I’ll bet including the wow token.

They will probably do something like the china Titanforged Servers.

Honestly, I would have more faith in that event. Netease is currently the better run company, with the more proficient development and coding personnel.

What is Netease?

insert Fry/Take My Money gif here

gdi blizz gimme back my cowman with tl3 so I can post a stupid gif or finish moving my bnet to the new posting format already

OK done with tantrum

It’s the company that Blizz/Activision/MS licensed to run Wow in China.

It did then they stopped.

SoD came out in Nov 2023 and the it stopped getting updates.

SoD would still be popular if the gear and classes werent so modernized into a retail feeling despite the updates simply because it has more content.

Many people discount the impact of over doing it on class and gear, and SoD is a perfect example of going too far, just like TBC+ in reality goes too far.

no, it wouldn’t SoD was the least popular version of wow classic even at its peak. SoD died and became unpopular because the feeling of not knowing what would happen next stopped soon as they gave everyone a free boost to go play MoPC for killing the FIRST boss in SE, that tells you everything you need, and now look at MoPC, it still has players sure, but its numbers were dwindling pretty low until the recent phase came out to start working on the cape.

Classic + is like this great hallucination all of the classic players, and even some retail players just dreamt up one day. SoD died or was dying and then all the streamers went to OSRS and then all of a sudden everyone was like “C+ me want C+, me want classic, while having QoL of retail, C+ me want C+, give all content that never made it to live”

I’ll be impressed if they make a real C+, the reality is they are going to make a half baked version of what CN has but just probably up to like Legion since so many people also want that. and then call it a day. Heavily doubt this company is going to pump out a whole new game mode to add to the active what… 5 versions of the game that they rotate when or how many updates/maintenance they will give it.

reality is C+ is going to make everyone unhappy cause no one can really agree what it should be, and Blizzard has no idea just as much as the players dont. cause if its just classic retold + stuff that never went live. well you pretty much had SoD for that, and well… yeah.

otherwise its just going to be a version of retail with a bit more limitations.

Thinking you missed the point I was making.

SoD is basically what the C+ wanters can expect from Blizzard, it was never great and the following it had was dependent on content cycles not game play.

My definition of “popular” does not mean I like it or even play it, just means that there were people who did, and there were quite a few making it popular for a game even tho I didnt care for it.

C+ is if it comes about likely just more SoD style overtuned classes and gear that only appeals to power gamers who think gear collection is the point.
