In the original iteration of the forums it was much more difficult to moderate the many different categories we had. Not that I’m a fan of a catchall forum, but based on the tools we had at the time more forums complicated moderation from my experience.

The last iteration of the forums, that started in November of 2010, were much better but these new forums make it a lot easier overall for our Moderation team.

What if I told you I just re-subbed to World Of Warcraft for the first time since Cataclysm and I had hundreds if not thousand of posts on the WoW forums before I ever stopped playing?

This was also the character i always posted under so obviously blizzard did something to their forums or got rid of the old posts from the vanilla/tbc/wotlk days.
