Not sure if the patch notes are out, but my client just updated and it is now 1.15. Guess that explains the extended maintenance. I’m sure more will be revealed later.

This could be really good that means a much easier time for the addon developers I imagine.
Curious if they may open servers for Name reservations prior to the 30th as a possible reason.

Definitely need the servers to be listed prior to launch, maybe a week out or so.
Btw I’m interested in seeing if any changes are made to the priest class, supposedly there was a change to priest on the 1.15 ptr that was supposed to roll out with just the normal patch cycle. I don’t know if this is really gonna happen, but I’m interested if it will.
Have to take a look when the notes come out. I always play Priest, but planning on doing something different in SoD…probably Druid healz.
I’ve been an Alpha - Beta tester for several xpacs now (original cata) sometimes there was issues with certain video cards or chipsets, the fact they are doing this without much open testing could be another reason with everyone operating in 1.15 they can see if there are any config issues across different pc setups.
Ah I’ve never had a problem with wow, but I do remember and update on SWTOR that my computer was refusing to load, and it had to do something with my actual computer. And people were having similar problems.
Im not sure how you could ever play this game and never have heard of wowhead? Is that possible?

enemy castbars can now be enabled so you no longer need an addon for that. Overall, the changes don’t seem that consequential mostly just preparing the ui for sod it seems.
yep! just a little prep patch. SoD data is also included in this patch, but its “turned off” for era and HC.
SoD, Era, and HC will all run off 1.15, some things are enabled for only certain server types of course.
This will allow them to test it better in anticipation for 11/30 launch

I really hope they announce the server names soon, as that will give me something to do by joining whatever server discord. Finding groups ect.
Those aren’t the actual patch notes, they are PTR and “development” notes. In fairness, they will make up most of official 1.15 notes, but not official or complete. Thanks for the note though champ.
I mean, they are the actual patch notes? Its what Blizzard releases. These are official, see how the text is in blue? Thats from the devs… its called a “blue post”
If you are expecting all 20,000 lines of code to be released then best of luck buddy.
