Classic Tracking Dots
Please allow changes for Mini map tracking dots for the visually impaired.
Tints between enemy player, friendly player, friendly npc and enemy npc weren’t added in Classic and I don’t know when they were. But this change, for the visually impaired, was huge.
Please consider.

Are you saying you want MOAR DOTs???
Thank you for commenting, topics like this aren’t the typical beacon of activity so every little bit counts.
Yes, I am. MOAR DOTS, even different shades of dots.

I support this also. good idea
There might be a mini map addon that can help with this.
I found one, and talk to the author of Chinchilla. This is what he had to say.
“That’s how things were in Classic I’m afraid. Very little was displayed on the minimap back then and many things used the same blip (quest turn-ins are the same as tracked herbs/mines for instance).”
Blizzard would have to allow later versions.
I agree this is needed please.
Thank you, the more responses the more likely it will hit someones radar.
There is add on’s that already do this.
I’ve looked, heck I even opened up a ticket with the creator of Chinchilla to ask. They can’t for Classic because the Blip tga does not differentiate between them, not like it did later on.
This needs to be something Blizzard opens the door for.
I just seen it on a the tube actually, If i find the name ill post it for you.
It had different color 0 icons all over the mini map and the map and yes it was classic blizz server.
That would be really cool, if there is somehow a way to differentiate between enemy or friendly npc and friendly or enemy player then the frame work is there.
It’s called becoming a hunter.
That’s what the entire post is about, being a hunter, and or feral druid.
Thumbs up for more accessibility options.
You have my sword
Thank you, Bigpickle. Every post, both for and against helps shed light on this. The changes for visually impaired players have come a long way and should be encourage.
Especially here, where they are lacking.
