if I create and level a character on the Classic servers, can I transfer that character to a Wrath server?
Sadly no Blizzard doesnt allow that… made me sad as well

"As the Season of Mastery WoW Classic experience approaches its end, we will disable the “Enter World” button for all Season of Mastery realms on or after Feburary 14, 2023. After that time, you will be unable to enter the game from the character selection screen.
We intend to keep your Season of Mastery character list available for some time thereafter, so that you can initiate free transfers from Season of Mastery realms to Classic Era or Wrath Classic realms. We do not yet know how long that access will continue to be available, but we will let you know once we do.
We suggest that all Season of Mastery players initiate free transfers for your characters as soon as possible.

Yeah, SoM characters will be able to transfer to Wrath. The patch notes also reinforced this, as it mentions SoM characters that transfer to Wrath keep Soul of Iron and Survivor of the Firelord titles.
I believe they were referring to classic servers only not som. however that is the only way to go to Wrath but at this point in time you cant really experience classic on Som
True but character creation is now disabled for new to SoM folks I believe.
So OP will need to wait for the next season to jump from “vanilla” to Wrath.
Unless Blizz does a huge U-turn and brings back cloning which is highly unlikely.
You can level on SOM for the next month. Join shadowstrike alliance and look for anyone in the guild Relax.
Can transfer from there to wotlk or era when they close som servers.

Yeah checked again and yeah all the pve servers plus OCE pvp in SoM look to still be allowing character creation even if you don’t already have one on that realm.
All the pvp servers appear to be locked if you don’t have a toon there already.
Pretty sweet OP. They were at one point able to bypass the transfer locks to Wrath from SoM but people are saying that’s no longer the case. I checked that a few days ago and found that locked servers were still coming up on my list of destinations so who knows if that will change.
OK I am a little confuse. If I level a character on classic to 60, does it continue to tbc then wrath, or do I have to create a new character for each expansion?
