I ran several dungeons in the dungeon queue this weekend. I lost count of how many, but maybe dozens of times across all my characters. But the only dungeons that have come up are one wing of Dire Maul and two wings of Stratholme. I thought this may be all that was released but I did get classic Deadmines ONCE, so I know it’s in the rotation. It seems to me like the rotation is broken. What dungeons were released? Where are some others like RFC, Stocks, Maraudon, Sunken Temple, etc.? Is there a list of what was released and what the rotation should look like?
Edit: I found the list of what was released, I have never seen ZF, the other wing of Dire Maul (only the tree wing), and Deadmines was just the one time. Still seems very iffy. Thanks.
It’s not normal RNG. There’s something off when everyone is getting Dire Maul and Strat only for days. If it really was RNG then everyone’s experience would be different. Something’s broken.
Well, to begin with, the different wings of DM and Strat are numerically the majority of the available pool (4 out of the available 6), so the odds against the others is already stacked.
You’re falling for the Gambler’s Fallacy, that RNG has to have some even distribution and if a particular outcome hasn’t occurred lately, it’s overdue. RNG absolutely doesn’t work like that, never has, and (unless Blizzard puts in some kind of bad luck protection) never will.
But I don’t imagine anyone will change your mind with mere facts. And QA won’t have any trouble disregarding an invalid bug report after investigation. They probably have access to overall dungeon selection rates from server logging, so they’re in a good place to decide if the odds are actually lopsided or not.
