Classic SoD P3 - Rune Item Primitive Drawing will NOT Drop

I have killed HUNDREDS of Dustbelcher Ogres and Troggs in The Badlands zone and the Hunter Rune item ‘Primitive Drawing’ for the ‘Expose Weakness’ Rune Quest has not dropped.

I joined a party with another hunter to see if it was a Shared Loot Item, if I could get a drop. The other hunter was able to loot the item from an ogre, but the item did not show up for me.

The only thing that I can think of is that perhaps I looted the item within the past few weeks and discarded it without knowing what it was for. I have checked my bags and bank multiple times to make sure I didn’t have it stashed somewhere.

PLEASE HELP! I would really love to have this Rune available…

As an FYI… I found the problem.

I HAD previously received the Primitive Drawing, and had returned it to Hemet Nessingwary in Stranglethorn Vale. However, not know what the next quest was for, and having too many quests and not enough bag space, I abandoned the “Terror of the Desert Skies” quest and had destroyed the Empty Bait Cage item.

Go back to Hemet and RE-ACCEPT the Terror of the Desert Skies quest and he will give you another Empty Bait Cage, and you can continue on from there.

So this was NOT a bug, jut my impatience.
