My Hunter tings stopped in Windsheer crag and when I tried to reload, is black now.
Same issue on Pagel! Complete blackout, Name, pic, outline there and Login button ok. Retail is fine…just Classic…
yes i can’t log in, and can’t create a new charactor. WOW CLASSIC.
same here was on the boat and game froze now black character screen
was vendoring some things and was unable to vendor them but was still able to chat so i reset the game and now when it goes to the realm list its just a black screen with no characters
Can confirm, not able to find my characters. Black screen upon character/real login.

I have an all black screen on character screen and am also unable to create a new character. I have tried restarting the computer and also did an error check through the app with no luck.
There wasn’t an update, it was just standard maintenance, that helps keep the realms healthy and active. Unfortunately, even when you turn your computer off and on, things happen. 
Hopefully we’ll have an update soon.

Maybe this is a way of Blizzard telling people to spend time with their families instead of being on WoW. Merry Christmas!
