It’s like looking through a mirror through time when you compare the racial abilities available to the allied races, the pandaren, and even worgen and goblins. I know this is an unpopular opinion but screw balance; rule of cool is more important.
You think pandaren have superior racial abilities than humans and orcs?
racials should only be cosmetic or passive buffs, not active abilities. Imo.
Agreed, would love to see some spunk added to classic racial abilities.

But the cantrips one is just nonsense.
I’d love Blood Elves to have their mana draining racial back.
Superior? When did I say anything about superior? I don’t give a crap about which race has the mechanically best racial abilities. Want I want is some of that new race flair added to those poor orcs, dwarves, and so on. Compared to those, yeah, pandaren racials are better, as in more interesting and creative.
The Pandarean 50% fall damage worked super well early this expac due to all the annoying hills and cliffs of Vol’dun and Zuldazar, and the food buff is one of the best for pve.
Blood Elf, Arcane Torrent needs a revamp.
I came up with a descent one:
Arcane Torrent
Instant, 2min Cooldown
Silence all enemies within 8 yards for 2 seconds and restore 3% of your mana. Non-player victim spellcasting is also interrupted for 3 sec.
