While waiting in the Classic WoW queue my queue position will go advance by 1 or 2 positions then get moved back 2 or 3 positions… Correct me if I’m wrong but I don’t think this is how queues are supposed to work. Care to comment on these happenings @blizzard?
I assume this has something to do with the placehold mechanism they have. If a player becomes disconnected you’ll jump up until the log back in while their place is still held. I was on all night from about 12am till 6am and was in Queue for 3/4’s of it, I believe there was a massive afk purge around 0350 where I went from 7200 in Queue to about 2200. just my thoughts I may be way off base.
