I completely understand the decision to have one mega server. What I don’t understand is why the new fresh pvp server is located on the US east?
Whitemane is the most popular classic era server which is PVP and West Coast.
As an OCE player, I normally sit around 150ms and a very stable playable connection on Whitemane.
Whenever I previously played US West Coast, the latency is anywhere between 230-280. Doesn’t sound like a big deal, however I personally experience alot of banding, teleporting, DC’s etc which does make it unplayable.
Please reconsider which server is located where.
I would confidently bet, the PVP playerbase is going to outweigh the pve and would be much more active on the US West.

Oh I thought it was a US player asking for West then I realised you’re Oceanic. No. PvE US West and PvP/HC East. Deal with it.
Where are the stats to support that? Current era pop is west dominant at the moment from what I can see….

if you aren’t including a OCE realm ATLEAST make the server US west… COME ON, its like they don’t care about the whole of OCE region at all
I want to know who came up with the idea of having 3 servers with 1 in one timezone and 2 in the other… because reasons?
And considering they have a confirmed extra server sitting there ready to use if they feel the need to use it after launch, it seems rather weird they didn’t just have 1 server type each for west and 1 server type each for east.
Like who said “hmm yeah let’s have the pve and pvp servers in totally different locations”.
If they made them all west, or east or even central I get it but this is just strange lol.

US East has garbage latency for west players.
makes no sense to have it on east
especially when oceania players want to pvp.
hardcore is east, pve is west.
hardcores only transfer option is the pve realm.

This is so misleading. People play on whitemane NOT because of region, because it’s the most populated pvp hub. I prefer east but when I played Era I had to play on whitemane, with increased ping.
