To drive up forum participation.
Friends already want to go horde for TBC. I have zero desire to level up again and play TBC. Maybe if blizzard wasnt involve, I would be more excited. lol

I used to try to follow my friends, too. In the end, I found they weren’t all that reliable. I landed in the guild I’m in now, and everyone’s pretty friendly (truth be told, it’s probably the best guild I’ve ever been in!)
I have a small group of buds going back to vanilla days. It wouldn’t be fun w/o them.
Start fresh. No copies.

Being able to start on your Classic toon would be the closest to the authentic BC experience, which is the point of Classic releases.
Copies/xfers seem likely, being that the alternative would be progressing Classic servers.
Leveling 1-70 wasn’t the BC experience unless you were a blood elf paladin or draeni shaman. It was 60-70. So it would be a character copy.
We just need to make darn sure BC: Classic doesn’t replace vanilla: Classic.
To get people off their own ptr’s and to blizzards ptr. It gets us to practice legally and we test bugs at the same time.
