I came to play Classic, not some retail hybrid abomination.
Why don’t all you changelings just admit that you never wanted Classic in the first place? Some people seem to dislike the game so much that it’s beyond me why they’re even playing it. Maybe it’s true that you thought you did but you really don’t?
And now with the devs spouting that #somechanges bs, it’s evident they don’t like Classic either and probably never had any intentions of giving us a museum. Why don’t they just admit that now too, and tell us exactly what they’re asking us to pay for, so we can decide whether we want to pay them anything at all.
In fact, why even keep up the pretense of calling it Classic anymore if that’s what’s going to happen to the game? Not a museum but some kind of gross imitation. That is not what I came for and not what I signed up for.
And has been solved. Sub is cancelled and will run out in two weeks. You won’t be able to troll me for much longer. Find someone else. I may be back once they decide to tell us what they want us to pay for. Depends.
People playing now never wanted overall authentic Vanilla. Just like the ones playing TBC, don’t want overall authentic TBC. they want watered down, more accesssible versions of them.
Fact is, the more of a time sink Blizzard makes it, the less money they make because people will quit.
Eh, all of those suck except for Prodigy and Weapon Specialists. They would be chosen exclusively.
Classic+ won’t be anything like that. It’ll just be new raids and encounters with bug fixes, and some class balancing. They won’t introduce new systems because it will only further create problems in the game.
Only by min/max folks who, as we’ve seen, are not 100% of the population. There will be people who customize base on whatever they choose. Some people might want weapon specialization while others will go with increased reputation gains.
Again, a lot of this is based on the D&D template which gave access to a wide range of character customization at level 1. You could term a dumb orc barbarian into a charismatic diplomat if you wanted to, just for roleplaying reasons.
Not everyone plays a roleplaying game to min/max, people also love to roleplay their ideal Warcraft character.
