In case you didn’t know, we have Anniversary servers to hold us over until Classic Plus.
Don’t expect CLassic Plus until after Anniversary is done which is another 2.5 years minimum.
If you don’t like Anniversary your only other options are MoP or Retail since era is dead.

Era is just the new Vanilla-gaming, you haven’t been around long enough to know this so it’s not your fault but museum players which is what you are will always be a tiny subset of the community the rest don’t like. Fresh is and always will be where the players are. This has been settled since the days of Kronos 1 and Nost.

Yeah it just won’t be announced til most of the way through WotLK which gives them time to develop it, and also prevents people diving off Anni and Era to classic +
Blizzard looks at classic, the toxic playerbase, the constant RMT they can’t get a cut of, the abysmal population and says “nah we’ll just go through legion and combine once world soul saga is closing up and only have era and retail”

Hope Classic+ is after TBC, no interest in running Wrath again.
If one is wanting a Classic+ experience there is currently Turtle WoW, Ascension and Project Epoch to pass the time.
