Without pushing to close to a Cataclysm, I really wanted to offer the idea of adding new Racials, while changing no Racials that currently stand.
Some quick examples…
It really feels like +Polearms would be cool for Trolls. Furthermore, if better items are introduced, this could become a very cool thing that is not game breaking in anyway. Maybe some BOE Epic or Dungeon Polearms would could a lot of Warriors a totally new way to experience Classic, but in a non game breaking way.
Gnomes I feel would benefit HUGE from +daggers! It fits that small folk might use small weapons and, to my knowledge, every Gnome class can use daggers! Would be awesome to see more Gnome Rogues and Warriors in PVE with that as a very cool class option. Unlike other weapons, Daggers are already in a great place in Classic and could only get better with further additions!
Perhaps a +Bow skill for Night Elves as they are the woodland folk and have a strong pull towards the Hunter class, etc… Ideas like this I think are very fun to consider and extremely viable in terms of adding new taste, but not breaking the game.
… lol … Racial diversity … when it comes to competitive PVE or PVP, it really feels like new ideas for Racials would really help liven up Azeroth. It is way to obvious which class path to take for most races. That’s a shame! It really feels like every race could use an additional cool tool or buff.
Items - Can we hard look at Helm of Narv, Icemail Jerkin, or something like Dazzling Longsword? There is SO much cool room for very basic stat ideas to recreate these items. Easier still, adding new BOE epics to the leveling and end game journey would be AWESOME. BoE epic’s are so cool and it really feels like more of them to find would be orgasmic!!! Nothing game breaking, just classic PLUS! <3
