Classic plus ideas?

I believe classic plus should stay at 60 cap level. however I think they should work on the scrapped ideas from vanilla wow. Such as the home instances and possibly polish up some of the classes. Like just giving paladin a taunt. Any other ideas? Maybe adding more to some of the crafting filling in the gaps.

Many of the necessary changes to Vanilla WoW found their way into TBC. This is often overlooked because TBC raised the level cap and introduced new zones.

While everyone will have some disagreements on what Classic+ should be, i think there is general agreement on a few major things:

  1. Make changes to fix class balance, especially for unviable specs. Make other tanking specs viable (Shaman, Paladin, Druid).

  2. Introduce QoL changes. This is things like raid-wide buffs, tracking fish pools, tracking herb/ore at the same time, etc. These things don’t fundamentally change game play, but make life easier for everyone.

  3. Introduce new content that is centered on the current two continents. This would be raids and instance zones beyond Naxxaramas as well as 5/10/20 man zones to offer alternative advancement. Keep the 60-level cap forever as to not invalidate older content.

  4. Introduce 1 new 40-man raid per year on average, with a new 5/10/20 man zones each year as well. Make the zone rich in content with lots of quests, enchants, recipes, etc. Make some of the content require attunements, which is a key feature of classic.

  5. There are lots of good ideas that can be stolen from private servers. Many of them, like Turtle WoW, have kept the spirit of the Classic game while still making changes.
