Classic Plus Enhancement/Elemental Talents and Skills:

I find a lot of joy in creating custom talent trees. These are my vision of what Elemental and Enhancement could be in an official classic plus server.

I’m still working on a Tanking Tree that will be based around Rockbiter (lots of idea’s from SOD).

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GXdTs7JjCIU Enhancement
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kKjgtx_hnhQ Elemental Added Talent: Master of the Elements: 15% of Intellect is converted to spell power (31 point talent next to Elemental Mastery).

In addition I would change, add and remove some skills from the game.

Change Log:

Windfury Weapon: Reduced the extra attacks to 1, increased proc to 40% and attack power by 40%.

New Skill Parry: Learned at level 10

New Skill Primal Strike: The Shaman instantly Strikes the target for 100% weapon damage. 12 Second Cooldown (5% base mana). Rank 1 requires level 6. (This skill was in the game a long time ago, it gave Shamans a melee attack to utilize until they talented Stormstrike.

Ghostwolf: Now has 2 ranks, the first being a 1 second cast and the second being instant. Rank 2 is learned at level 30.

Frostband: Removed from the game.

New Skill Bloodlust: Grants all party members 20% faster attack speed for 10 seconds. 30 Minute cooldown (30% Base mana). Requires level 60.

New Skill Feral Spirit: Summons a spectral wolf who’s attacks heal the Shaman (healing would be based off highest stat… if resto or elemental Intellect, if Enhancement Strength or Agility).

Totemic Projection: Moves your totem 25 yards, 10 second cooldown.

Totemic Recall: Recalls your totems restoring 25% of there mana cost back to the Shaman.

New Skill Elemental Resistance Totem: All Resistance Totem’s have been combined into 1 totem called Elemental Resistance Totem. Rank 1 is learned at level 20 and provides resistances to fire and frost, Rank 2 is learned at level 40 and provides resistances to fire, frost, and nature. Rank 3 is learned at level 55. Counts as a fire and water totem.

New Skill Purity Totem: Replaces Disease Cleansing and Poison Cleansing.

Flametongue Weapon: Now also increases spell hit chance 3%.

Flametongue Totem: Now increases spell hit chance by 3%.

New Skill: Earth Shield: 31 Point Talent in Restoration Tree.

Still working on this, but it sure is fun just playing around with ideas, be fun to talk with other Shaman’s about it.

Just as a heads up, this could be potentially be reported as advertising which is against ToS.
You’re not supposed to use it to promote things like your own youtube/social media.

People are a probably a little more lenient when links are for another person’s media. (Or at least think it is)

I appreciate that, but I’m not really concerned lol.

Ijnteresting, I’m not sure how much I agree with it, but I’ll go line by line for a quick quip. (Not going to watch the vids though, raiding in like 10 minutes…which I’ll be using to type this.)

But Why?

This seems like “the worse Stormstrike” ? (Albeit a bit cheaper than Vanilla Stormstrike)

Is this accounting for the GW talents, or is it “in lieu of” the GW talents?

Pretty much. lol

Maybe it could stay if it had a higher proc rate and a stacking debuff (slows, and resistance to cold damage.)

Certainly wouldn’t complain.
Maybe Enhance gets a Talent to buff it by 5%?
Otherwise it could very likely be like Vanilla where Resto is placed in each group for WF.

I think it should be specific to Enhance.
Give Ele an Elemental
(And could give Resto an Ancestor)

Tracks.

Would also like Call of [blank] so we can do Totems template in one GCD instead of 4.

If it’s taking the place of the individual ones instead of being an option along side them, I think you’ll lose support for it. The QoL in exchange for losing SoE or even Stoneskin is kind of a hard hit.

Yes.

Can’t complain about this either.

I think it’s good progress, the only thing I would do different is specialize the abilities more. (Mid-Deep Talent tree) To keep the themes a bit more respected in specialization.

I appreciate the feedback.

All of this would make more sense if you go back and look at the talents when you get a chance brother.

For Windfury it’s to reduce the gambling aspect of it some, I think increasing its proc chance, AP and reducing it to a single extra hit would benefit Enhancement ultimately.

I edited the new Elemental Resistance Totem to take to Fire and Water totem only by the way.

It’s tough baking those talents into the trees, but I may may make each of the a 31 point talent.
