I believe it was already confirmed that your standard sub gets you access to Classic as well.
I don’t see why we’d need a separate method for subbing to classic than that?

I’d choose a classic only sub option if it existed…
But the shared sub has the advantage in that both games support each other financially. It’s fine.

They’re giving you the option to play both versions of the game for only one suscription fee, even if you soo much love vanilla that you hump an old thrall model body pillow at night, I’d rather have it as just one suscription.

Why would someone want one or why is there not one?
Some people want one since they think a shared sub links them to retail even though blizz will 100% have metrics on what everyone is playing nd they dont want that for… ummm… reasons.

Classic is included with your regular sub. They’ve already said that.
The reason why Classic will exist is that to shareholders, you are increasing value because you are paying for the sub of the current Wow expansion. Your metric is not counted differently, even if you never log into a regular non-classic server.
So Classic brings more perceived success to the regular game.

You got Classic…dont be greedy. Just grind gold for tokens in retail…there free wow sub.
Here ill make it easy for you. Grind “Iron Docks” till the first boss on two characters in different servers. You make 4k gold in 20 runs (10 runs per char), each run takes 2-3 mins. Over a period of 30 days thats 120k gold…the same price as the wow token. You can do it ever other hour, but all you need is once a day (1h in total).
There are better methods of making gold of course, but this method wont be affected by other ppl. Just turn off your brain and listen to a podcast or something.

Nah, they’re doubling up the sub so try to open the way for classic only players to wander into playing retail. Retail is heavily monotized and it’s more of a lucrative source of income than classic. I think many classic players would pay for an entirely seperate sub, and retail players wouldnt explore classic, but by having both on the same sub, they encourage a nonstop WoW subscription and heavy cross play between the two games. If you don’t like retail, you play classic, so regardless of it you want to play BFA or not, blizz has your sub and has opened the way for you to drop dosh on retail.

Because I would prefer everyone playing with me want to play the game I’m playing enough to pay for that game, rather than logging in to troll because they see no reason not to.

Then you’re cutting a chunk of players who really want to be part of the classic community. If you leave them with the option to play the retail version with all the rare achievements they have and the money they have invested or a version that doesn’t carry any significance to they original account, then they will choose retail.
