Fishing in Krasarang Wilds around ~400 fishing doing fishing daily for Anglers. Sometimes I cast and get no loot, sometimes I cast, get a skill up and no loot. Seems like something is wrong with the loot table?. In Cata when leveling fishing prior to launch I would always at least get some sort of trash drop for ANY cast if there wasn’t a fish or item fished up. Casts in Krasarang Wilds sometimes gives nothing, or gives nothing and a skill up.

Yeah this is horrible i’m 495 with 150 lure ontop of +23 on my fishing pole and i’m getting mostly empty fishing loot pops.
I am experiencing this as well. hold shift just shows an empty loot window
Edit: Using my fishing pole + lure minimizes but not solves this leading me to believe its a skill issue lol (im 545 +100 skill lvl)
Same issue as well. It makes the noise of a successful cast but nothing in inventory.

Same issue here but not just in karasang, have had the issue in Jade forest too and in both freshwater and ocean fishing. Also barely ever catching golden carp. Have only fished up one or two the entire time i have been playing since MOP released. In previous instances of MOP content, golden carp were the equivalent of trash drops, so surprised i have caught more of everything else then those.
Fishing skill 455 with +30 on my rod and +150 lure.
Same issue. 600 to 750+ skill and no change. All addons disabled. Does not affect all characters. My sub-300 skillers were fishing just fine.
Can confirm this is also a issue for me, seems to be an issue only im MoP areas as it isn’t happening to me in other fishing areas.

Started happening to me today on the Snack Time fishing quest in jade Forest near The Arboretum. Turned off addons, relogged, and seemed to work for a second then stopped - loot window flashes but no loot. Maybe it’s related to the fishing quest? Tried using both Seth’s Graphite Fishing Pole and the automatic one to see if that made a difference but happening regardless. Edit: it seems like where there should be junk, there’s nothing. Kept casting and occasionally getting fish/quest fish loot, just no junk. Turned in the fish quest to see if that had an effect, but still happening - no loot most casts.
Happens probably 1 in every 3 casts for me, at 600 base skill, fishing in random rivers etc for Angler’s dailies. Really frustrating.

Same here but everywhere read that there isnt trash like classic but golden carp which is goor to get cooking over 325
I thought this was fixed in the last patch but its still happening. Not sure as a low level fishing in MoP makes a difference or not but there’s still no loot.
*correction I do get loot in fishing pools
yeah, about 1 in 3 casts return nothing when not out of a pool. It’s really weird, and kind of look like the fishing mechanic is glitching when it happens. max fishing+ lures so the skill level doesnt seem to affect it.
Same issue still here on both characters I have tried on. One is max fishing the other is 375. So many times “no loot” and I have gotten a lovely total of 7 Golden Carp, making cooking quests terrible and “A Feast for the Senses” quest for The Arboretum basically impossible.
So far what I’ve seen, it hasn’t really been fixed, THOUGH Dread Waste does drop trash loot from fishing, but none of the other zones do. Max fishing + 100 lure and Hat and I sometimes still get no catch/loot very rarely (with only 600 fishing + 30pole it happens a bit more often). The other zones don’t drop trash — Only Dread Wastes seems to be the only zone that does.
still annoyingly bad when doing dojani fishing for anglers daily, fix blizzzzz. 600 +30 skill
Seems fixed now. All zones in pandaria are dropping trash on a non-fish catch.
