Good Day,
Remember after Classic launches and we all spend hours in Azeroth that you remember to get up and stretch frequently. Making sure you do exercise for your wrists can help against future health issues. As someone who had nerve issues due to work on computers then going home to play computer games, I can confirm its something that can affect day to day life.
Wrist stretches to help against that gamer wrists: webmd (.) com/pain-management/exercises-carpal-tunnel-syndrome#1
Also I know we all will have pop, alcohol, and snacks. Please make sure we put some more healthy alternatives that will not only give you that energy boost but will help your waist as well. Fruit trays are a great option as they can give you natural sugars to boost your energy and taste great.
I personally will be cutting up fruits while preparing some foods that are fridge/microwave ready to make sure I have maximum time on wow while not eating terribly unhealthy. For Drinks I hope to have some tea (I know I will have alot of Pop as I am weak).
What are everyone’s dietary plans for Classic Launch? Are you going to be ordering food in or will you be taking long breaks to make food? Or will you have your parents make you food for those who still live with the rents?

+1 on taking care of your wrists. Carpal tunnel is something I’ve had problems with, too.

Lots of coffee :). I eat pretty healthy anyways, so I’ll stick to my normal diet. But for the first few days, I’ll probably order out.
Also, I’ve had surgery on both wrists for carpal tunnel. It’s no joke at all!

A couple crackers, a few slices of farm cheese, a few olives maybe, and a couple of sundried tomatoes all on the same plate.

I moved to trackballs a long time ago. Never had an issue with my wrists ever again.
Coffee beans will be my crunch snack. I fully expect to hit level six the first day. At least

I’ve blessedly avoided carpal tunnel despite most my waking existence being in front of a computer.
I’m not a snacker, so I won’t likely have anything at my desk to munch on. This also makes me get up once in a while to make meals. Sugary drinks on the other hand… they’re my vice I cannot live without.
I do that for dinner a lot.
Highly recommend granola bars or some such similar thing.
I went through a box of 6 Peanut Butter granola bars and some caffeine for about a 24 hour period on one expansion launch.
I’m making a bunch of Sun Tea the day before. Add a little honey and some lemon, and I’m good to go.
I’ll have RedBull on the intravenous drip, with a dash of vodka for that edge. A good supply of pepperoni pizza with anchovies and quite possibly a little bit of herbal supplements to allow complete immersion.
At least I’m being partially honest

I have uhh, '“food issues” (i know you guys are out there) so this is my thread it seems.
This is the stuff I can eat while i game and feel ok
Oatmeal with fresh fruit (pile it on)
Air popped popcorn as I had said above
Halo top Ice cream (or any variety of the very low cal non dairy ice creams)
40 cal bread with cheese or any meat/protein you want for a sandwich
Veggies with some dip or just naked, raw, steamed, whatever
Grilled chicken with salad or on a sammy
Squares of intense dark chocolate (i like it with sea salt)
Sparkling water, tea, diet soda, zero cal energy drink etc
I plan to have grapes and cheese brought to me on gold plates by scantily dressed women with massive assets, all the while I have another set of women equally as presentable massaging my forearms and calves to ensure proper blood circulation. After I get tired of the snacks, I’ll request they bring me the pig I’ll have had them prepare out back over an open flame kept in constant rotation to provide it with the right level of juicy and maintain it’s crisp crunchy exterior. …
Then I’ll wake up and realize I have to go to work because I’m a boring over paid adult who does not have vacation that week. Zzzzzz

I always have at least a week of freezer meals prepped for those “meh, I don’t want to cook” days.
For expansions and stuff I always spend a couple of weeks prepping a couple of extra weeks of freezer meals that I can just dump into either the crockpot or the instantPot. I give the house a nice deep clean and stock up on drinks and snacks. For Classic launch I’ll also be making a few pies then packaging them up in slices and freezing them. A couple sheets of brownies. A nice big batch of cupcakes. A few breakfast casseroles because they freeze SO well and are easy to make and reheat. I think I still have at least 4 homemade pizzas in the deep freeze. And of course the usual standards of crisps, popcorn and raw veggies and fruits.
EDIT! I stand corrected: I only have 2 pizzas in the freezer. Glad I checked before market day.

Granola bars seems like a great idea. I also would also cut up cheese’s and make a platter.
+1 for the trackball mouse. Bringing attention to the crimson scourge that is carpel tunnel. If I was my young self starting computer games I would have forced myself to do stretches.
For Air popped popcorn do you add anything for flavoring (oil or real butter) or do you usually like the taste of all natural?
I just do it with this Hotpop thing i got off amazon and dont use any oil. Its naked and plain but you could really do anything you want with it. I was skeptical at first but it is easy and pretty good.
Apple slices with peanut butter/yogurt dip.
oooo I bet that’s really good with that low cal shake on butter stuff…fork…what’s it called? Molly McButter or some bull shirt. (I just binged The Good Place, forgive my language)
