Exact Numbers or just vague numbers that said “Tripled the subscribers”?
Either way, i like to see the source on where you get the said numbers.

False
True I guess? Not sure what the point is here.
Some people didn’t choose for their realms to die. Look at Kel’Thuzad. I had raided on that realm since Wrath, it had queue times at the beginning of every patch, now it’s a ghost town. I had to leave because there weren’t enough decent players to recruit to do Mythic.
That’s because after the grind to 60 there’s almost nothing to do. They didn’t have dire maul out or even level 50 class quests which is dumb. After clearing Ony / MC there’s pretty much nothing to do.
It’s because there’s nothing to do in classic. Even big streamers who get paid to play the game are visibly bored of it.
Pretty much this ^
For me personally I only got less than a month into it before I got bored of the pace and came back to new worgen models. My character is 26 and 60 seems a million miles away, let alone geared up at 60, so I have no urge to go back to it. I’ll level another retail alt first. Your mileage may vary, of course.
I think they accelerated development of Classic after they realized how badly BfA was being rejected, in order to provide stopgap content for upcoming content droughts to retail players.
By the time they came to accept that issues with BfA acceptance were not going to blow over, it was far too late to make changes to core expansion features, like azerite gear. And they’re too proud to admit they made a mistake anyway.
I think they overestimated how long retail players would stick with it, probably based on limited or faulty research.
And they underestimated how many old fans would come back to it after having been away for multiple expansions. They had to come up with lots of new servers to deal with that.
And in my case

There’s plenty to do in Classic after hitting 60. The question is whether or not you want to.
Yes, this is what was expected, as others have stated. It’s also why they were so reluctant to add more servers.
Didn’t they announce that no realm was currently over 1 layer a week ago when they said they were bring DM in early?
As far as I know, they are down to 1 layer on the lowest pop realms.
On my realm I can’t see my other characters on my second account unless I group with them. So there’s at least 2 layers.
I’m on a medium pop realm.
Maxed engineering twice and mining
You can literally do that as soon as 55+ and more or less have pre BiS before you even hit 60…
MC you can finish before 60 while picking your prebis saving princess run, ony attunements I’ve done 15+ times for myself and guildies.
Done
Done, we did that 2 weeks ago
If the only thing there is to do is to grind argent dawn rep…
I mean a lot of raiding gear is what you’d use for PvP.
been running guildies through stuff
Spend hours ganking people already
I’m not going to go to a crappy old version of the game to RP, if ever RP at all.
No there’s not. Stop lying. Content is being witheld when It’s not necessary.
I’m a total casual who plays way too much. There’s tons of stuff to do if you’re like me.
But everybody was saying since long before it was released that the end game is weak. I’m not surprised that people who are into that feel they have nothing much to do.
No there’s plenty to do. And personally I find more quality in Classics end game.
There’s really not. After you do your raids for the week there’s almost nothing to do. There’s no honor system so there’s almost no point in PvPing other than griefing, which is fun…for like 2 hours or so.
My realm doesn’t need an honor system for WPvP to happen. We’ve had battles across several zones already and this is pre honor system. And I’ve already done both of the raids and still have plenty of things to do.
That’s very nice, dear.
Neat. You must have just recently hit 60 or don’t play very much at all. Either case, that doesn’t mean there’s lots of stuff to do.
Watching 2 people argue when they appear to be oblivious that multiple player types exist is interesting.
@Jalen , Not everyone just does things just to do them for the woohoo which is like 75% of your list of “things to do”.
@Drougen, Not everyone needs systems and structures in place to find things to do.
There…was it really that hard…
bfa had 3.5. million box sales the first day. classic didn’t even have a box to buy and it has still massively dropped off…?
Nah I’ve been 60 for a while and play plenty. There’s plenty to do not only in the game but through the realm that I’ve chosen.
