Yet Nostalrius became hugely popular and is one the major reasons we’re getting Classic today. What do you have against a level of difficulty that is proven to be very well received by players, as it doesn’t alter the “vanilla experience”?

Well many of those players thought that Nost was Blizzlike. Some of these players have since made a point to say that the difficulty in the Beta is too easy.

I suppose we have already forgotten that Vanilla would be impossible because of point 3 in the Wall of No:

If they can lie once, they can lie again. This was never explained on how it would be IMPOSSIBLE to recreate Vanilla, and then magically, it was.

Because it is wholly made up. I didn’t sign and ask for a made up version of Vanilla when we were coming out of the Nost mess, I wanted the clear cut real thing. If I was happy with a Private Server version of Vanilla I would have just stuck with Private Servers.

The entire point was to get a Blizzard product where we no longer had to worry about it being shut down and it was the real thing. No more made up values, no more guessing, no more arguing about if things were possible because it was a private server.

We would be getting the real numbers, the actual Vanilla as it existed ( or at least as that patch existed ). If it’s easier than we thought I’m fine with that because it’s the right values, it doesn’t have bugs that made talents and specs stronger than they actually were, and I didn’t log in and hit the same cave every morning because it always gave me 4-5 blues the first clear through.
