I would agree IF the goal of Classic was to be “the new, better game – the best game Blizzard can create in 2019”. I would agree 100%.
But that isn’t the goal of Classic. The goal is payback. For YEARS Blizzard has had to listen to PLAYERS in the forum say “Vanilla WoW was better” and “Why can’t you make a game as good as Vanilla WoW?” Finally Blizzard made a copy of Vanilla, and made it FREE so every player could compare the 2 games. That’s the purpose. Adding improvements removes the entire purpose of Classic - to be the “Vanilla” that everyone is demanding.
Besides, we already HAVE a version of Classic with what Blizzard decided were the best improvements: it’s retail WoW. You didn’t think they would let YOU decide what improvements to add, did you?

It’s 3 months old. Nobody has been playing Classic for the span of 13 years between because it didn’t exist.

Yeah the #nochanges crowd are the same ones that keep posting boring hashtags and reporting people who disagree. The are the vocal minority, not the majority. This is true everywhere not just on WoW. Actual people play WoW so it’s no surprise that these kind of folks plague the game, as they do everything nowadays.
