What sort of charity hire thought adding the retail Edit Mode interface to Classic would EVER be a good idea? This change is THE thing that made me finally broke retail beyond repair for me and made me never touch it again. Get rid of the trash retail interface for Classic servers, and bring back the Classic interface. Not touching anniversary servers again without it.

This is probably non-negotiable as they split Anniversary from the rest of Classic. Apparently our “new” servers are live/retail infrastructure.
I’m not ace on all that went down but from what Fwoibles posted I’m betting it’s irrevocable.
If only they had some sort of… Game developers on staff to, you know, develop the game and replicate the Classic UI, and allow you to scale it like you used to be able to and have it all fit together to give players playing Classic the option to use the Classic UI.
Hell, they spent the time GUTTING LFR from Pandaria servers, but they add THIS to Classic? The incompetence is truly astonishing.
