We just have to go to private servers to get the Classic experience. I really dislike this UI and I am familiar with it from Retail.

I agree, Why change “classic” at all. We don’t want/need any of the “fancy” upgrades from retail. If we wanted that we would “play” retail.

Not true at all. It was those servers who invented HC, not Blizzard. Blizzard got the idea from an addon and the addon was inspired by those servers. Just as SoD was inspired by private servers as well. So everything Classic done by Blizzard only exists because private servers exist. Reason being? private servers are made by gamers and people who want to play the game they are creating. Current Blizzard WoW, you can see these people in interviews and can tell the majority have no passion and no idea what they are doing.
I will return to Cata Classic the second guild UI is changed back to what it was…but they wont so I wont. I just logged in again today a few minutes ago to check, even typed /groster…nope we got retail WoW guild roster. But guess what? Private servers do it right. Thats why more people play there than play here.

Even in HC they did that to the guild UI. I just unsubbed. Company is crap now. Play private. That is the only thing any of us can do if we want to play the game is used to be. EVERY VERION of the game has the new guild UI. Even level 60, even Classic HC, even SoD. Screw this company. I’m out. Uninstalling soon and I’m done.

Hopefully this is just a bug and will be fixed soon. I will be submitting a ticket to get my ui fixed.

Blizzard games have had hardcore modes for 20+ years. Blizzard wasn’t inspired by those servers, other way around. About all that can be said for those semi-HC servers is they showed Blizzard there was enough interest for a real HC mode in wow.
The downside is the people who were introduced to hardcore play by those addons don’t generally understand hardcore because of that appeal system.

Wrong, it was a player created mode.
When you guys are mentioning the UI, is it the guild pane or the entire UI that’s been changed. I have no idea what the regular UI looks like or looked like since I use ElvUi.
Yes which is exactly what I said but you only quoted part of what I said to try and make me seem wrong when I wasn’t.
Here is what I ACTUALLY SAID
Hardcore was an addon first and was used in original SoM the most. But it functioned very differently from the HC that we got this time around. But no. HC WoW was NOT a Blizzard idea when it was done in WoW the first time.
Put the Classic Era guild tab back in Classic Era now!!!
