So I am very excited about Classic. I was the leader of a top raiding guild in Vanilla and I am excited to do it again. The vanilla community was always so much fun and with that said, that community is what I am looking to re-create. The guild will have a community based atmosphere as well as an exceptional raiding team. The guild will be mature, fair and well organized. I will be inviting casual and hardcore players alike. However, our official raid slots will be given to the core raiding members first and foremost. Don’t worry though!, I hope to be leading multiple raid lockouts to get alts and more casuals through content. If this sounds like something you might be interested then feel free to contact me!
The website
So our guild website is under construction. It’s coming along! It’s also more than just a place for our members. The website will include a compendium of all raid bosses with strategies and videos that be well maintained and updated. It also will host live-streams from our members and select community players. I plan to have a portion our discord channel open to the community as well. I welcome feed-back too on the website!

Raiding
We absolutely are a raiding guild. We will be using a very fair DKP system to determine loot. I am very experienced with DKP systems and I will be finalizing the rules and website integration very soon. My goal to encourage and reward attendance but also maintain a balance that doesn’t put new members at a disadvantage. I have always disliked loot council. Even when I was the one deciding who got what. I want complete transparency on how we award loot.
Looks good! If I was playing Classic to Raid hardcore again I would totally be in it with you. If we end up on the same server though and you are in need of a healer you are free to hit me up. I actually helped run WarVets back in Vanilla which was the Horde side of Left-Overs. We were able to kill world bosses and even killed Instructor Rav in Naxx 40.
We still need to decide on a faction and finalize a name. Right now I’m seeing what kind of people I get together first and what everyone wants to do. I’m putting MAJOR work into the website. It’s not nearly ready. The compendium section will really be nice when it’s finished as well as the forums. Right now I disabled forum registration because I may need to wipe the database as I am integrating everything together.
Maybe it is just me, but I find it off-putting to mention the server first thing =P. Like that there is a lot of unknown information to bring context to that for one thing. Such as server population where it took place, amount of guilds competitively pushing the content and controlling world bosses, and comparing to other top guilds from other servers (which admittedly was not as major a thing back then). Apologies if this post comes off as condescending, I just could not withhold saying it.
Once your guild actually exists and has at least 20 level 60s that I can see play well…then let me know I might be interested. But 7 months before you even start to level…there is nothing to even think about.
I’m not anticipating recruiting a whole roster… haha. I just want the infrastructure in place for when it kicks off. It will save me time to do it now so I can focus on things in game. If i’m lucky I’ll chat up a few players who are committed and who will be with me on launch to play and have fun =)
This is what I’d need to know. I’d be interested if the guild is horde on a PvP server. Also, raid times are a make or break it thing for me. I need to find a guild that raids 9pm to midnight
central time (Chicago) weeknights.
If that works out then I’d be your guild’s best druid.
