[Classic] Game freezes after releasing right-click until I stop moving my cursor

Client v1.13.5
i7 6700k
GTX 1080
2 monitors
Turned off overlays
Shutdown mouse application (Logitech G HUB)
Deleted WTF and Interface folders
Windowed (Fullscreen)

Standing in the middle of an inn, if I hold down the right-click button and move my mouse to pan the screen, and I keep moving the mouse, but release the right-click button, the game will freeze, until I stop moving my mouse.

This isn’t limited to inns. In dungeons, it makes it really inconvenient to play, since it’s usually a cramped area where I have to readjust my camera often, while also filling my duty (heal, dps, etc), which means moving the cursor.

The only fix I found so far was to run the game in windowed mode.

How can I solve this problem and run the game in full screen?

PS: Sorry for the long title, I spent 2-3 days on-off googling this problem and there isn’t a ways to summarize the problem in a simple sentence.

Hi Desa

There have been a good number of mouse issues related to the Retail patch. Saying that I see you are playing Classic and I haven’t seen any mouse issues there recently. Let’s start with a DXDiag System report:

https://us.battle.net/support/en/article/12988

The second section of page has DXDiag report instructions - we don’t require the MSinfo report.

That will be a wall of text. If you have issues pasting on the Forum here go ahead and put it up on pastebin.com. Provide the link code portion of the URL - example below.

(The green bold portion at the end of this example link: https://pastebin.com/Qk28Ed1P <=== this code)

Alternately you can place the link in a Preformatted Text box. Paste the link in the chatbox - then highlight it. Click the preformatted text button along the top of the chatbox - looks like this </>

Will look like this example afterwards:

Hi, thanks for the reply, here is the DxDiag report:

I took a look at the DXDiag Desa. While I don’t think it would cause this issue you might update the Nvidia 1080 driver.

I see a process called Discord Canary errored in Windows. That looks like some sort of Discord Alpha install. Discord does have it’s moments on the forum here with odd issues. Try uninstalling that then test.

Doing those two things have solved the problem, I am not longer able to reproduce the stuttering while in Fullscreen (Windowed).

Thanks for the help!
