Update on Deviate Delight:
Horde and Alliance have worked together to split the content into phases. Phase 1 being Ony, MC, world bosses and going until 10 weeks after the first MC clear.
We are still not accepting transfers into the two guilds, and we will not ever be. Come start a new character instead.
Update from the Alliance side:
We’re still receiving 3-10 new players daily. The level range is really spread out because the recruitment pushes have been done in waves. There’s 8 60s that have dinged in the last week, but hundreds of levelers. We’re hearing that the horde side is about the same, but with a few more 60s, because they had the head start. We peak at about 40 over the weekend or 25 through the week, but dip considerably over night. Horde peak numbers are just a little lower.
Contrary to the comments above, this is a community project run for positivity and to get away from the things they are imagining. Raiding is a side-project because we have the numbers. If we wanted to be a toxic raiding guild, we wouldn’t be doing this the way we are. We want to repopulate the server with a healthy number of people. We don’t mind what faction, class or spec you want to play. Play whatever you like instead of being told what to do or feeling pressured into a certain role. All we ask is that it’s a new level 1 character. The Alliance side is GMed by a council of 5 instead of a dictator, all different play styles and time zones to make sure this is as positive as possible.
Because we’ve been telling people to play whatever they want, we’re not currently lacking any role. We have a really great spread of all classes. So really, anything goes.
We understand this isn’t for everyone. So if you start here and don’t like it, you can do a transfer to Whitemane for free. Or paid transfer to Grobulus where Legacy are clearing Naxx on a regular basis if you want the low population but are frustrated by us being so chill.

I also have to add that we’ve worked as a community to eliminate all the bots on the Horde side and only about 5 exist on the Alliance side currently, and not for long.

Do you have a full phase plan? Or just the first one?
Doesn’t the Naxx patch being live just ruin that whole thing? What about PvP gear in MC?

Alliance and Horde are working together to restrict the content.
P1: MC, Ony, World buffs. Thorium brotherhood, timbermaw, hydraxian waterlords. No PvP gear in PVE including PVP rep gear. Includes Dire Maul and 5 dungeon sets.
P2: BWL, ZG, Zandalari rep. PVP gear will be allowed mid-phase
P3: AQ40, AQ20, Brood of Nozdormu, Cenarion Circle, Silithus bosses.
P4: Naxx, argent dawn - anything goes.
PVP can be done before P2, gear can be obtained and used for open world and BGs. Just not used in PVE content. A few of the Horde have just spent all weekend in AV.
The later patches being live means that we’ll go in slightly overpowered for MC, the drops from endgame dungeons being a little buffed. It edits the usual P1 Pre-Raid BIS lists a bit. But all gear from an endgame dungeon is allowed in phase 1. Just can’t upgrade the dungeon 0.5 sets until we can fight the Silithus bosses.
The above phases mean that the content is being progressed as a team, instead of a mage just solo grinding ZG, which would not be allowed.

First time posting on forums because this sounds hopeful. Saw your post on Skyfury trade chat.
Just wanted to drop in and say that I’ll play anything but Cataclysm. Since pre-patch is launching there are a bunch of really negative people coming back and I can’t take it.
I really wish I cloned my character before TBC classic. But this will do nicely instead of Whitemane. I started there and wanted to instantly quit.

I saw on a stream that you guys are doing an all-shaman BG team. You have space for another one or is it full?
The classic version of the game is always fresh because all content from low-level to endgame is always active.
Yes! We have lots of people interested, we’re not limiting the team to 10 people.

Population is about 50/50
Horde started first, so has more at 60.
However, when we started the recruitment push, people came in an even wave to both factions, so it has leveled out nicely now.
this sound fun but i dont wanna lvl ima transfer one of my naxx toons over
Still noticing a huge bump in players. Yesterday we peaked at over 100 players online for this player driven movement for the first time so population is still increasing!.. everyone just rerolling to play the game like FRESH. We have also worked out the phases that we will be following for this project.

I want fresh badly. Sod is not it for me. The Warmane server is 3x xp and so easy.
Is there a lot of Naxx geared toons?
